NeoPeds is a unique pediatric practice that focuses not only on general pediatric and newborn care, but also on ancillary services that improve patient and family well-being. Our care for your family starts before your baby is born with consultation services and continues after birth. We have the expertise to care for newborns with complex congenital problems, genetic syndromes, and feeding issues.

NICU Graduates:
​
NICU professionals often refer to babies ready to go home as 'NICU Graduates', these premature babies that go home after a long NICU stay require a multidisciplinary approach to their future care. They may have problem with feeding and/or reflux, that could result in discomfort and failure to thrive. More often than naught they will go home on medication that may require monitoring and dose adjustment, or other equipment that will need monitoring. These babies will also need developmental monitoring and timely use of ancillary services to ensure the best possible neurodevelopmental outcome. NeoPeds can do all of this and more.
Tongue and Lip Tie:

Higher grade tongue or lip tie could affect breast feeding by preventing the newborn from having a good latch/seal and the appropriate tongue movements to transfer milk. This could make breastfeeding painful and ineffective. There are also other potential developmental complications to being tongue tied. Please see tongue tie section for information on our services including lactation support and tongue tie release surgery.
